Almonds…. You’re Nuts

You have heard the quote, quite often coming up to Christmas every year I am sure, “puppies, not just for Christmas”. Well I am going to say the same about my favourite nut, The Almond…….

Not just a Christmassy snack, almonds contain more protein, fibre, calcium,  and vitamins B2 & B3 than any other tree grown nut and are a rich source of Vitamin E.

Almonds also contain manganese to help strengthen bones and balance blood sugar, magnesium, which is essential for regulating blood pressure, while the skin contains flavonoids that act as antioxidants.

So there is no excuse for stuffing your face with these nuts any time of the yearalmonds (1)
